This mirrors the styling of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/02\/2024-toyota-corolla-cross-facelift-debuts-in-thailand-with-new-grille-and-tech-upgrades\/\">the facelifted Thai-spec model<\/a> that was introduced last year. The grille has been restyled, giving the front end a bit of extra ruggedness, though the bodywork remains largely unchanged. Toyota has introduced new options for the 18-inch alloy wheels, offering a dark gray finish on the XLE trim and a gloss black finish on the XSE. There\u2019s also a new Cavalry Blue exterior color, which can be paired with a Jet Black roof for a two-tone look.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>No GR Sport Trim for US<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sadly, US buyers won\u2019t be able to get their hands on the more aggressive-looking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/05\/the-2026-corolla-cross-facelift-reveals-its-gr-sporty-sid\/\">Corolla Cross GR Sport trim<\/a>, which was just unveiled for the European market. The GR Sport adds a Gazoo Racing body kit and a sharper chassis setup but, disappointingly, doesn\u2019t include any extra power \u2013 if that offers any consolation. This new display is a significant upgrade from the 8-inch unit in the previous model, providing a more modern feel. Other tech upgrades include up to four USB-C ports, wireless charging, and a nine-speaker JBL Premium audio system, depending on the trim level. As for safety, the Corolla Cross comes standard with nine airbags and the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Powertrain Stays the Same<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are no changes under the skin, with the gasoline and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/hybrids\/\">hybrid powertrain options<\/a> carried over from the existing Corolla Cross. The gas-powered model still features the 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, delivering 169 horsepower (126 kW \/ 171 PS). It\u2019s paired with a CVT and comes with either front- or all-wheel drive.
