Well, Chevrolet was clearly listening and has responded with the 2026 Corvette, bringing some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/04\/2026-corvette-facelift-fixes-the-c8s-biggest-flaw\/\">significant interior upgrades<\/a> across the entire lineup. Not to be left out, there\u2019s also a new 6.6-inch touchscreen mounted just to the left of the steering wheel. Despite the fact that the number of button has been greatly reduced, Brian Stoeckel, Creative Design Manager, said that having \u201creally good physical controls\u201d was a priority for the designers.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>The drive mode selector has been relocated, which opens up space for a wireless charging pad beneath the touchscreen, complete with a cover to keep your smartphone in place. Two cup holders now sit within ambient lighting, a USB-C port is included, and there\u2019s a grab handle for the passenger.<\/p>\n<p>The Performance Data Recorder (PDR) has also received an upgrade. This provides access to live horsepower and torque flow, a G-force gauge, acceleration timers, and additional temperature gauges for the tires, oil, engine coolant, and transmission fluid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Color Combinations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Corvette buyers have more color choices than ever before. However, if you\u2019re driving an E-Ray or Z06, you can opt to add it as an upgrade. A standout feature is the electrochromic targa roof glass, which lets you choose between full, medium, and low tint options. That said, there are subtle tweaks to the exterior trim, including two new paint colors, called Roswell Green Metallic and Blade Silver Metallic, and an asymmetrical center stripe, available in either Edge Red or Carbon Flash.<\/p>\n<p>While the powertrain lineup and chassis setup remain unchanged, the optional ZTK performance package now includes the largest carbon-ceramic brakes ever fitted to a production Corvette. These feature 10-piston front and 6-piston rear calipers for improved braking performance.<\/p>\n<p>Note that the C8 Corvette was originally introduced in 2019, with the Z06 following in 2022, the electrified E-Ray arriving in 2023, and the ZR1 performance flagship in 2024.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pricing and Availability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Details on the availability of the 2026 Corvette lineup will follow later this year, together with the new pricing catalogue.
