As the SUV drops onto the floating dock below, it spins to the left and somehow sticks the landing. If things had played out a bit differently, though, it could have easily tipped over and ended up in the water below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/05\/this-is-the-2026-jeep-grand-cherokee-facelift\/\">2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Facelift Reveals Itself<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to a <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2025\/05\/12\/us-news\/inexperienced-driver-launches-jeep-over-long-island-pier\/\">report<\/a> from the NY Post, the teenage driver accidentally hit the accelerator while navigating the pier. Local firefighters responded quickly and were able to extricate the teen, who was then taken to a nearby hospital with only minor injuries. Not only will the guardrail need to be replaced, but the force of the Jeep slamming into the dock also punctured a large hole in the wood that\u2019ll need to be fixed. Hopefully, the driver and the car were insured at the time, because if not, they\u2019ll likely be hit with a hefty repair bill.<\/p>\n<p>As for the Jeep itself, it\u2019s looking worse for wear.
